was there increased front fender clearance with that size?
that could be beneficial for the stock strom front fender. Quote:

has a similar tread design to mefo (also german) explorer. for having very little dirt to ride on germany sure puts out some great off-road tires. http://www.klr650.com/MEFO%20Sport%20Trail.html. ![]() just saw that twisted throttle now carries mefo's (all though selling at a premium price) and there is a different pattern (super explorer) in the biggest 2 18" rear sizes only (no 17" in this pattern???, bummer. wonder why as 150-17" has way more fitments. maybe it's a tubeless issue) http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productlist/765/

I am hoping that the Heidenau is coming in a 150/17 for the F8 and will be here before I need to replace the TKC.

In the spanish forum of f800gs quite a few people has been using them, but so far not time or not km. enough to check the life expectancy...
The people seem to be quite happy with them, after having used before tkc80, battlewins and mitas. http://www.forof800gs.es/viewtopic.p...=192&start=120 http://www.forof800gs.es/viewtopic.p...t=1723&start=0 |

I talked to the distributer last week, he said the tire (K60) was delayed do to some production problem. He said it's coming this summer and it will be a great tire. I sure hope so. PS. the guy was very help full and said he's had tons of interest in this tire. bete..

I hope this won't be a case of where the distributor can't keep up with demand once they are here or it takes a long time to order and receive them. I too would love to have a set of these to try out. I am sick of outrageous prices for tires that wear out quickly.

update on the mefo super explorer in 110-19 & 150-17 sizes.
this is from twisted throttle. mefo is working on on those sizes. no time estimate, but looks to be yet another tire option.

Is it just me or are these tires freaking expensive? and for a T rating.
150/70 B 17 M/C 69T - $167.00 110/80 B 19 M/C 59T - $134.20 And I thought Anakees were expensive. |
