Why I must be famous....I have a fan of my Youtube channel. I went past the pumphouse and across I-40 up that gravel road on the other side. That part was boring thru there. I hope your a subscriber of my channel. Maybe you could come out and ride with us sometime.
is this the one you speak of?

Tn. portion of the road is great until the leaves start falling heavy.

I havent had a chance to get out and grab a tag in a while. However, I do enjoy keeping up with the game.

I was going to post the tag at the "Pavement Ends 5 Mi." sign on the Cosby side.

Great ride. Twisty. Dirty. Fun. Would ride, but you''ve got your PMs turned off.

You know, one could skip most the rough stuff if needed (no fun in that, but available). Don't let the threat of the road scare you off from grabbing this one.

If you come from Cosby, you don't hit gravel before the state line, right? Just super sweet, totally deserted, silky pavement twisties.

I don't remember exactly. The last time we were through there, I was wishing I had a Plott sticker on my Volvo so the hunters wouldn't shoot at us suburbanites truckin' through the hills and hollers.

.,.although I was also thinking that the duration of the road, gravel included, could be easily accomplished on a street bike. So, there is no reason for anyone to be afraid of this one.

Would love to get it this weekend but the wheels are off my bike. Maybe I can borrow one from the Northshore Motorcycle Museum.

Unless I'm confused about where this is you can ride through the park and end up at Maggie Valley where you can check out Wheels Through Time.
