nope. they were closed. i got there right around 9.

i went to a nice party up on the hillside right behind the winery 7 or 8 years ago, but hadn't been out that way since then. i knew i recognized the building when i saw the tag, and then the clues made it pretty easy to find.

new tag.

this log cabin is located on a dead end forest service road. you might find several people here in the summer months talking about "sick" rapids, and you might spot a hiker or two on the nearby appalachian trail.

I know that one just from the picture. Used to go their several times a summer as part of my previous situation of employment. Great tag, Got a pretty good story for whenever it gets got.

too bad I'll be out of town this weekend or I'd be all over it.

It's been years since I've been up there for fun or "wet" work. Would love to head over there to play with "jaws" again. I remember being chased by the train across the bridge. Good times! Great tag placement! Someone go get it!

Well I just had it a couple moves back and want to make sure someone else gets a chance.

Okay, and my GPS is broken and I'm lost without it.

Rode up 321 to Johnson City yesterday with my Harley bud just to look around that park where the MOA rally will be. We kinda got sidetracked at Jonesboro by an ice cream store and lots of wandering lovelies.

Well shoot, I was at almost the exact same spot today... didn't know it was a tag or I'd grabbed it since I was on the bike and had the camera in my pocket.... might get it tomorrow since I plan on being there again in the AM anyway.

Lots of towers on this mountain that shares its name with a lake and a river...all three in the same area. Gravel road so pick bike accordingly.
