The description of "it was rocky" pretty much describes Smith Mtn Road.. LOL..

I just crossed that road last weekend and did not see this, maybe I was not paying attention or maybe it is not located on Smith Mountain Road and you got roads confused. :)

I'm pretty sure it was after I turned onto Kimsey MT RD,

I'll try to get my track off of my GPS and pinpoint it better.

EDIT:

Garmin is calling it Mcfarland road

N 35 07.76 W 84 26.57

if go in past lost creek, turn right at the T, go past Smith Mt RD about 0.7 mi in a straight line probably 1.5mi by road

Kimsey Mt rd is further past it.

Cool, those are good bikes. My Dad has a Vulcan. Last several tags have been good ones. They've all been in areas I've ridden in but have not actually gone to the exact tag spot. That's what I like about this game. I'm still going to look for that graveyard my next trip around Kimsey mtn hwy
