Cleanerman I think I saw you riding towards the tag tonight?
I left the tag at 7:59 P.M. and was heading towards U.S. highway 11E.

I came from Greeneville on the Old Knoxville Hwy to Hartman Road for the Grab. I did see you.

Great day for a ride.

That bridge is over 150 years old and still going strong.

Well, I didn't get the time I needed but this is further south.

And don't forget to check out the men's room:

And, if you keep going east, you will be on one of the most fun twistie roads in East Tennessee. Oh, by the way, gravel ahead.

This is too easy.

I believe it was Anthony Bourdain that says you can judge a kitchen in a restaurant by the bathrooms. Makes me think no about this place. And damnit I don't recognize or quite figured the clue out yet. Twisty road and E. TN doesn't narrow it down much.

With the stuff A.B. eats, this would be heaven. I'm not sure this place has a kitchen, only a pit. But it is different.

Say hi to Meachelyn, pronounced like the "tire".

Love that road! never noticed that store tho. Last time I rode that road a couple friends and I stopped at the state line and pulled off into that big dirt area off the gravel side, NC/GSMNP.. Friggin park ranger actually came by and berated us for parking there, "not a parking area, you can go over there," and pointed to a wide spot off the paved side in TN. Then just to be a real douche bag he waited down the road for us, cuz we stupidly told him we were about ready to leave anyway. So once we get rolling the fucker pulls out in front of us and drives 25 mph all the way back down the hill. Of course for the entire hour or more we were on that section of road we were the only motorcyclist and about the only traffic.

Friend of mine was the Ranger in charge of that area and he said they only have jurisdiction to the park signs along hwy 32. They have no authority on the road or the left side going up. Of course explaining that to them would be a loosing proposition.

What route would I take at the end of 32 to head for Maggie Valley without any interstate. Wasn't sure what roads to take. Thanks for the info :)

In my D.C. commuter days there was a park ranger who took it upon himself to drive the speed limit at rush hour on I66. Once I got through the sheep I blew past him at the normal commute speed of about 70. He lit me up and asked for my license and registration. Without handing them to him I asked if the state police knew he was out there doing that. His expression told me no. I pulled my phone out and told him I was going to call and ask. :-O He quickly apologized and told me I could go then took the first exit off when we left. No jurisdiction and no business.

New Tag

Ok here's the new Tag. This may take some help but I'll throw it out there and we'll see what sticks.

Hints:

1:) Just got back from my round trip of 225 miles which included my Grab of the tag and Setting the new Tag "I live in Sevierville"
2:) It's near the end of a dead end road " #XXX" that equals 22
