Almost a month...... and you still haven't gotten this one?

This TOR is almost as fast paced as a golf game.

Do these have to be on a road? Can I go get this thing and then repost it at a very identifiable spot that is a legally rideable trail accessed destination?

So after riding since 10:30 that morning starting in Lookout Valley, I left for work to Dalton Ga, & yes saw MB doing a wheelie Then I rode to Calhoun, Ga for work. Then I rode to Rome, Ga for work. I decided after Rome that I needed to get my rear in gear and go get that tag this afternoon.

I revved the DR up and rode Hwy 27 from Rome to Subligna, proceeded onto Subligna Rd into Walker County, the Hwy 151 onto Hwy 95? I think it is, into Rock Spring, Ga. I finally make it back to the 'Noog by 4:30 ish maybe? I barely got the tag when this WR250 cool dude (RufJeep) pulled up and asked if I was just getting the tag.

He was on his way to Prentice Cooper for a few trails and I joined in, (while wearing my nice jeans for work ((no padded pants)) :/ but I was wearing my mesh jacket :p & gloves) It was so cool! I'm glad I got to ride some up at Prentice, it's always a cool place to hit some dirt :p

Hit a couple trails, then it was getting towards suppertime and sprinkles were looking likely. I still needed a new tag :/ I don't want Honcho busting my chops :p I also wanted to get the tag outta Hamilton County ;p

Here's the new one -

Which I hope there isn't already one :/ I looked but, I dunno about the search on ADV, sometimes I think it's just lazy :p

Here's a clue

Good meeting you SG! That was a fun ride. After I left Prentice, I decided to try cutting back through Big Fork to Signal...I found some pretty cool trails...and also a burned out truck and plenty of used appliances, mattresses, etc (if anyone needs a mattress, there were a few that looked useable).

Y'all keep dropping my name in this thread and I guess I'll just have to ride up there and get this, but dang what a boring ride. I just can't make myself do it.

Somebody get this and take it to some curvy mountain roads.

Tyler takes the tag !!

A true Dog amongst D.O.G.S.

Couldn't replicate Squirrely's exact shot because Saturday morning in Dayton is apparently farmer's market morning on the courthouse square and I didn't think I was going to find a parking spot.

Anyway, this is the Rhea County Courthouse in Dayton, TN, scene of the Scopes Monkey Trial. We didn't hang around long because I didn't know how some of these TN folks would take to the sight of a motorcycle riding dog. Might be a little too "evolved" for them.

New Tag -

I apologize for the file photo, but I got a headache from the boring slab this morning. (just kidding SG)

This tag is barely in TN as I found out the hard way via a N GA Tag DQ back in the spring. Several different ways you can go about finding it, but my favorite would be to go to the town named for their hills the color of Abe Lincolns and back-track about 25 miles or so on great FS roads around big "Kermit" mountain west towards the U.S. "information" highway.
