Just in case some of you are a little leery of riding to this tag, it's paved roads all the way to the Snack Shack. Of course some of you might want to cart your DS bikes there and then ride some of the 72,000 acres of trails and gravel roads while capturing the tag in the process...that's fine by me, also.

It's not Brimstone or Royal Blue.

Hop on that plated bike or cart it, get the tag and make the day of it there...worth the price of admission.

Close up of sign

the store doesn't seem to come up with google, so I'll give A hint

there's enough churches on this road you should worry about the DEVIL in thiS TRIANGLE

it's not far from the previuos tag, in a straight line. but you can't get there from here, you have to go some where else to start

Glad you got it David. I was hoping the location would spur some new interest. The old guard pulled through again.

I don't have time to ride there right now so ain't giving the location away.

Pretty sure I've ridden by that store before. Took me seconds to find this pic.

So machinebuilder, this it?

Posting a picture with the coordinates isn't giving it away......................

I thought about this spot

But then I remembered how fast this game move and figured the truck wouldn't be there

Props to the driver who got that truck down that road

I bet he crossed the double yellow a time or two. As a matter of fact the time I rode that road all the trucks seemed to take liberty with lane choice.

I think he was probably across both white lines, he didn't have much lane choice

Oops!

Well, if I wasn't working all week in this beautiful weather I'd have taken the pic from there.

Last fall, I took a back roads, "make up the route as you go", trip to Missouri. I think I must have gone right by this store but I don't remember it specifically. One thing I do recall is that just before going through this area, I stopped off just north of Knoxville to visit the "Museum of the Appalachia" ( find it on Google) which can be most easily reached by going just north of town on I-75. If you have never been to this place, it's a "Must See". Incredible collection of artifacts, tools, machinery, music, and way of life from days gone by. Largest collection of Native American artifacts I have ever seen as well. Much of the exhibit came from the area there prior to the flooding of the Norris Lake. It is now part of the Smithsonian as I understand. I only had a couple of hours to spend there but I want to go back and spend a good part of a day there. Ok, sorry about the somewhat hi-jack but just wanted to mention that in case anyone is interested as they go for this tag.

Grab!!

Some of Dad's family is buried right up the road from this tag. I learned to drive on this road as well. So I only felt it was fitting to bring Dad along with me.
