Lol, I average 80 hours a week, mostly on the road. Hard to keep up with you guys who work close to home! Lately l have been lucky because I am working nearby in Atlanta instead of flying every week and I actually manage to get he more weeknds than usually.

I am thinking I need a new career plan so I can ride more!

The creek is called paint creek becausehidden in the rocks next to the river are enigmatic pre-Columbus paintings. Where they are is a closely gaurded secret as there is no way to protect them from vandals. I happen to find them and perhaps if anyone rides that way with me sometime I will point them out. Another way to reach this spot is from a hidden turnout off the road ti hotsprings at the spot where the AT Crosses the highway on a bridge over the road.

Awesome area to ride, lots of twisty roads south of hot springs. Anyone up for follow the leader some weekend let me know.

I just got out of the Army and moved to Chattanooga from Germany. I should get my bike in about a week or so. I'd love a guided tour if you have a chance.

I think this was an App Tag too. Popular spot. Lots of nice stuff right around there.

Grab, Gregory Bald trailhead on Parson's Branch Road between Cades Cove and the Dragon.

I got this a great personal sacrifice, waiting behind ten thousand tourist that never saw a deer before inching and stopping and inching along through Cades cove. Luckily it really was fun once you got on the trail!

Clearly Aarff has a devious side hidden beneath that sweet exterior though! Loved it!

Bruced. I was headed out in about an hour to grab this one to beat the heat. I can't believe that you were man enough drift to brave Cades Cove on 4th of July weekend with 105 temps. You earned this one. I'll go do it anyway and of you post a new tag soon enough this morning I'll get it. Otherwise I'll have to park the bike for a few days due to work and wife obligations.

It was scorching, I drove from Atlanta, through copperhill, stopped in at tellico motorcycle and got some klim mesh pants. I then went 360 to 411 to 72 to footgills parkway to 321 on to cades cove. I was running out of daylight and hit the dragon right as it went total dark. I rode up and down it anyway... Lol I then went back to 411, to 75 then Chattanooga downtown for some food at a diner then hhome in nw Hamilton county, just got here.

However, be aware cades cove does not open til 10 on Saturday I think.

Bruced. A day late and a dollar short.
Drift. You were right about Cades Cove being closed until 10:00 on Saturdays but I used some good ole East Tennessee ingenuity and got there anyway.

See, that's the way doctors are, they take liberties. If they can't get medicine in one way that put it in the WRONG way!

I always get slapped when I try that too.

New tag real soon.

Ok DriftDragon and bajavet You both earn my praise for braving the mess in Cades Cove on a weekend!!!! Great taggin guys! I know full well what you went through to get to Parson's branch but aint it fun once you get there then smooth it out on the Dragon. I did go through the week but it was still a zoo of people. There was a poor scrawny bear near the entrance and I should have taken photos of the tourists parking and running wild to see the poor thing. Oh well, guess I'd do the same if'n I had never ween anything in the wild I love Cades Cove in the dead of winter on my bicycle...thats when its special! Glad you guys have one to remember....Lemme see...I'll really have to come up with a sinister one next time...

Well...we ain't done to exit to Dry Valley yet.....maybe better when it cools a bit for that...
