Does anyone have a 1974 Honda CB750 Carb Laying around in their Garage?

Morning all,

Started the Cafe racer build yesterday by removing the Carbs to my CB750 K4 and when I got into the Float tanks I found out why the bike was not running properly, well at least one of the problems.... The needle jet holder had been bondoed (I believe it to be at least) back together. Well when unscrewing the main jet, it disenagrated. (this girl is going to be expensive I have a feeling)

So I wanted to check and see if any of ya had a single car assembly tucked in the bowels of your caves or even a full rack of carbs.

I am willing to throw in some dollars (within reason of course) and a fedex shipping label to make it as easy as can be, be fore I have o go off on the search across Ebay

and if you have a god source for these carbs I am definatley up for suggestions

Thanks ya'll!

Just make sure you get the same style carb because they did change a bit between 1970 and 1976 then complete different carbs from 77-78.

If I was you I would just buy a whole rack of carbs if you plan on keeping the bike. It's always good to have spare parts and a set is cheap! You can buy a rack of carbs for the price of one cv slide. If you get an individual carb make sure it is the one you need, they are not interchangeable and not symmetrical.

I think you are probably right on the idea of the complete rack! Spare Parts is never a bad idea!

+1 on a whole rack. replacing one carb can be a pain, plus its best to have a set that are worn evenly. It may be hard to sync a group of mismatched carbs. I looked to see if I had an extra set, & I dont, sorry.
But they are not hard to find.

Just got off the phone with George..

Damn good guy!

I was having a slight (Read this as incompetent) difficulty describing the issue I had and he replied, " okay in the Carb business we call all of these parts Whatcamacallits and thingamabobbers"

Then he showed me the way, like the Carb sage he is. I am going to have him rebuild these Fangled pieces of metal into something that actually works.

Thanks for your guys help in this beautiful disaster

To be continued....
