lots of gods special police in nga

hey guys beware it looks like the street is gonna be thick with gsp and locals in lumpkin county!!
i saw 5 gsp and 3 locals all around town and in the twisties so watch yourself!!
we have a new sheriff and #1 is meth and #2 is slowing down the bikes!!

the latest favorite speed trap is if you are going east or north on 19 from the rock pile towards turners corner they are backing in at the old store on the right just before damacus church!!
i saw enough that i would not be surprised to see road side checks!!
be prepared and stay safe and have fun!!!!

Are court appearances still mandatory when getting a ticket in Lumpkin County?

Boy am I glad I don't speed.

Also right before the country store as you approach the intersection w/ 129 just after dicks creek road I think. The local is sitting to the right and down hill on a side road.

FYI..the country store says they are building a kitchen for lunch soon
(all i could find were slim jims and chips fer lunch so I asked whats up)

Yup, I noticed the same damn thing. I usually book it up and down 9 north of my house 'cause there is nowhere for cops to hide and I know the road. Well, I was coming south on Gert's 950 (Gert and his buddy Mike actually passed me going the other way ) last week and there was a GSP parked on a little side drive right in the twisty stuff near where Inspector Packet's pop wrecked his Strom.

Last night I was speeding south on 9 to meet Gert in Dawsonville and one was headed north... I see he hit his brakes but he decided to continue north I reckon.

Nothing against cops really, but this type of shit annoys me.

Any word on traps on 60 between the Rock Pile and Suches (and beyond - how far does the GSP and Sheriff patrol anyway)? I'll be making my way north there tomorrow on the way to Tellico - love GA60 and TN68

The GSP is going through there no doubt. Between the rock pile and suches I have never seen one stationary though. When you get to the top of the mountain, you may wanna slow down anyway. The Applaician Trail crosses 60 there, and hikers are crossing the road and cages are pulling in and out of Woody Gap parking area.
