In short yes . The bikes being sold in Europe are shipping with LEDs as stock, however they are very small in a housing that is ridiculous, from a safety standpoint I hope BMW re thinks these turn signals. I rode recently with an English 09 R1200GS and in daylight the new BMW OEM turn signals were barely visible. I wonder if they are having trouble with DOT, however that's just a guess.

The Weiser LED upgrade is a serious step up in terms of looks and visibility when riding. I have ridden with guys on stock BMW signals mixed with the Weiser product and it is very clear which is which.

If you would like a set, I offer free shipping to ADV inmates. All 4 corners are $120 Please send to paypal cooksabit@razzolink.com and mantion make and model of bike.

Many Thanks,

Tony B

Many Thanks for taking the time to do this, great pictures.

I have also noticed (as with all lights) that the LEDs do look a little brighter with the engine running.

Awesome.
Cheers,
TB

Thanks for the fast shipping, Tony. You're welcome regarding the pictures, it was no hassle at all. I have to note these were taken without the engine running! In that case, it will only be better...

Another Happy Customer

Hi Tony,

I just received the LED Indicators, and of course I had to install them right away. They look great! I like the ‘stealth’ look of the black circuit board anchoring the LEDs. In fact I took a permanent marker and coloured the edge of the locking key, so that it too was a deep black.

Thanks for the speedy service, and for a product that has both the ‘cool’ factor and the safety aspect.

Regards,
Robert

Blinking rate problem - suggestions?

Bought 2 sets for the 650 X Challenge and everything went fine until putting on the last one. I installed both rear first then both front.

Both rear LED, stock bulbs up front, worked good, blink rate 1 per sec.
Right side LED F & R, good, blink rate 1 per sec.
Left side LED F & R, bad, blink rate 2-3 per sec.

I put the stock bulb back on the front left and all was normal. Bad resistor in the one insert?

I did email Tony but thought I'd ask the populous for more insight.

Thanks all.

Problem fixed. I think the batt. voltage was a tad low to work right as it had been sitting for a while til I got the bike back to being able to crank. Work fine after voltage up a bit. When I was checking initially only had the switch on, not running.

Glad to here that you got them sorted, I was camping the last couple of nights, sorry I missed your emails.

The Led's are a tad voltage sensitive, they are brighter and consistent with the engine running. I think you'll enjoy the lights.

Thanks for the business!

LED upgrades arrived today...

So in they went. Looks really good. Hard to take a consistent picture in position/peak brightness for comparison, but LEDs are definitely brighter. Of course I don't have the clear lenses, though putting those on may allow further brightening...

Also sent you a PM, Tony.

Thanks again.

Got mine in a couple days ago - an excellent product, very simple to install. And the instructions were very good, right down to the best tools to use.

Highly recommended.
