My first bike!
Well here she is, my CL350. Not too many stories to tell just yet, but this is my first bike. Yanked her out of my brother in law's shed a couple months ago and the same day I got her home she was torn down to a roller, engine in pieces on the garage floor. New tires and tubes, new top end, rebuilt SL350 carbs, new battery, new fuel lines, new points and plugs, rewired harness, a custom breather tube a'la Nissan Titan
, and several hours polishing the chrome with a box of steel wool. She's almost ready to ride; I'm waiting on air filters so I can tune the carbs, and the timing is still off just a touch, hence the lack of stator and points covers right now. But even being a little rough, she still runs strong and to hear that exhaust, man does she sound angry ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This winter the frame, tank and side covers will receive a fresh paint job, but for now it's getting colder and I'm gonna ride this baby while I can! No pix yet, but I just had a CL350 given to me. It's been in windowless climate-controlled storage for nearly 35 years. Exhaust, paint, gauges - all flawless. Owner died many years ago and widow is thinking about cleaning out the garage. Said if I'd get it gone I could have it. Clear original title.
Sometimes clean livin' pays off.

If anybody is looking for one...
My buddy is selling a 73 CL350 with a title for $350. It is in Raleigh NC.
I'd buy it but I am up to my butt in bikes. PM me and I will hook you up directly if interested. I'm not going to list is in the forum, just wanting to be helpful if you need parts or a bike, It is very complete.

Heres a 350 I just got going for a friend. Started as a pair of cheap non runners, rebuild the carbs on the other on and sold it, the money from the one paid for this one and most of the parts of this one. Still a few things to do to it over the winter, but Cheap fun.

Sorry no daylight photos on hand. You can see much of the work I did do. I reassembled a lot of it (no idea why it was apart), new tires and tubes, cables, brake shoes, battery, blinker relay, rebuilt the carbs, and cleaned the rust out of the inside of the tank with The Works toilet cleaner which really works amazing!

A while back I parted company with my CL350, but I have always had a soft spot for the CL450, and as such I have been keeping an eye out for one, and just today something may have come up, so watch this space....
