A local pulled up as I was taking these pics today. He said this was painted be a local "character" named Johnny Paintbrush. Evidently Mr. Paintbrush likes to paint murals and have a drink (or two). He said he didn't think may folks know his real name.
 Some detail  included the pets

Shot a couple in Lakeland, Ga on a short ride today with the wife. I didn't take pics of all of em. If you're nearby or passing through, you should check them out. Next to each mural theres a sign describing the scene and its historical signifigance.
 This one has the map of the small town (wont call it a city  )The map indicates the locations of all the murals and is the other half of the one above.    All through town, there are several small "murals" of people sitting about the town watching you as you pass by. :) |
