great thread
I got about 500 good miles out of this 120x18 AC10, I liked the tire, it just couldn't really compete with the power of the TE450, I liked the quick handling of the narrow tire, but I'll be going back to my big Pirelli 140s.

The AC10 measured about 106mm at the carcass when mounted.

do they make a fatter size?

thanks alot

narrow rear tires make for awesome handling...at the cost of mileage...I know that feeling

my xr6 is no new husky powerwise but 1kmiles is my top mileage on any knobby... too......................

..
Yes, mine is a 120, a funny tire, that was my pic on the last page, the 120 AC10 measured 135 mm at the carcass UNMOUNTED, when it was mounted up, it got taller and narrower, down to 106mm.

Just put a rear on my 640 the other day, paired with a K760 front. We have a lot of sand down here and the combo seems to work very well. I did a little brief riding in some very deep sand the other day and they performed great, and this Sunday I'll be riding some varied terrain to see how they work everywhere else.

The rear works pretty well on the street and balanced effortlessly. I'm sure it's been noted, but it is LOUD on the tarmac. I normally don't ride with any ear plugs but these tires have changed that. Interested to see what kind of life I get out of these; I have an ED78 and ED77 on deck to try next.

i find the AC10 on the rear wears real fast, i got longer life out of the K760, but on the front the AC10 rocks
