It was probably nuthin, im sure there are lottsa rednecks still playing around with pipebombs. Probably just got nervous and tossed it out the truck or something...

I wonder how it was supposed to be triggered? Or was just to scare? Actually had explosives inside?

Colleen has my warm fuzzy..... just sayin.

It was made of PVC, had black powder in it along with some kind of buckshot or shot, and I think I remember the report saying it was triggered with a shotgun shell primer. Not 100% sure, but somewhere along that line. I know I wouldn't want to be around it when it went off.

yes..officials said it was filled with gun powder, shot, shot gun shell and firing pins??...they used a water cannon to disarm it..

I find that the guys of 29/40 always get the wx prediction WRONG..Dan Skoff (KNWA) seems to be the most accurate..I too was hoping for 70 deg
