The DR650 isnt even in the same category of modern 4-stroke competition bikes. It's 30 year old technology.

Lol, I'm IN the DR650 lovers crowd. Its a great dependable bike that I wouldnt be afraid to ride anywhere. We were generally talking about race bikes and dependability, and how the WR450 is superior the the KTM's.

I'm getting things organized and packed for a mostly dirt ride up to Blue Mound, Kansas. Ajayhawkfan is having a soiree up near the Flint Hills. I liked it so much when we road up there last year that I'm going back. I also just sent my registration in for the Flint Hills Stampede.

I have not read that and I read a lot of vehicle tests. From what I found on ford forums it burns E10 but no more.

I think any user can update the site.
The new EcoBoost F-150s are NO-ethanol engines. Says so in the owners manual....to the tune of voiding warranty.

I plan to ride my DR in the Dakar and the Baja 1000 next year.

Ok, not really, but I bet I could finish. Nobody would still be there to see it, but I could finish.

I am all packed. I got a co-worker lives in MO bought a new car and didn't bring his home so he is riding down with me tomorrow. I don't look forward to having someone with me on my 10 hour ride down. I hope he likes books on cd, and Johhny Cash. He is Irish (and I mean from Irelend), but we are not listening to Irish folk music.

This will be a good test. I can see if I really want to fly the big ships and sit next to another pilot all day. I think I already know the answer.
