I watched the DVD "Senna" today. I got it at the Fayetteville Library. Fantastic is all I can say. Really took me back, and frankly was hard to watch as he lay dead in that car. He was flown away in a BK-117 like I used to fly. I thought what it would of been like to carry him. If your not a fan of Formula One it is hard to put in perspective how much he meant to so many people. He was from Brazil. His birthday is a national holiday, and over 1,000,000,000 attended his funeral. He was the only bright spot in the lives of so many extremely poor young people there.

If you are religious you will find his passion for god interesting. Normally turns me off, but his sincerity about it and humility seem to make it fit. Ron Dennis and Alain Prost discuss that in the interviews in the special features.

He was so driven it was unreal.

Thanks Levon, RIP

turned Lazy

Well Matt. Got home and was too lazy to fire up the truck and run back to town. So I didn't get gas to mix fuel and fire up the saw. Decided to fire up the tractor to push, lift and break the offending little tree across my drive to the MC shed. Tree was pretty rotted. But the vines around it that had sucked the life out of it were tough as could be. So at least I burned up a little diesel fuel getting it cleared. Tried moving by hand and quickly relized that wasn't going to work.

Already seen a lot of folks we only see here at the convention. (AA) Learned of a few who have passed on.

Went to dinner with Dirt bike friends to an Italian place. Colleen had a great time.
I tried to not look at what she & Charlie were eating...

Spent an hour on the side of the road... Lost rear axle nut. Things got hinky... 412 & 45, nice guy in the big shop told me to go to AT's in Hindsville, sure nuff they had a nut that would fit... Colleen helped and we got back on the road. I had spare spacers but not a axle nut. Will add that to the stash soonest. Will make the nuts un-removable..
Special axle with nuts on both ends. Extra long....

Spot has been midlin to OK to start today. By that I mean I have not collapsed on the ground before she decided to run.
I am sitting right beside my bed so I can just fall over and be good for the night.

Oops, not yet, was a knock at the door... : Guy with a group lost the rear wheel bearings on his BMW so I lent them my ramps to get it loaded up to go to Bentonville in the early AM. ( Good BMW mossickle place )

Long story about why we are in the wrong motel. I may tell it later. It is / was a real test of my patience.
