I'm staying on the Mo. side of the Missouri River. When you cross the bridge into Nebraska the elevation jumps up to over 1000'. The Mo. side was hit hard by last years flood.

Very well put talk about a boring drive, ride, even flying over. Flying over has a couple benefits takes less time and you get to see the green circles better. If it wasn't for the sand hills you could see clear across the state if the ladder was taller than the corn that day.

Flipper, The Clinton Il. nuclear plant brags that it is in the worlds largest corn field.

I guess it's bragging..... maybe.

I flew EMS briefly in Indiana before a spot came open for me at Mtn. Home. The airport was literally in the middle of a cornfield. Our yard around our trailer went from grass straight to corn. And once you go in the air you could see their was actually bobbing dinosaurs just feet away that you didn't know were in the corn. Man the thunderstorms there were dangerous.

I refer to the folks from those states as cornbillys, or cornbreads.

I know this will create some jealousy among the ranks, but you should have Mouth or Toad come over and rub some Vicks on your chest!

Good idea you don't want to get worse, the only better you would get from them is you better leave before they get there.

Saturday's forecast for Oark and vicinity:

30% chance of showers and a high of 74 degrees.

Trying to decide if I can eek one more ride out of my worn-out XR before the serious heat hits. The Grand Daughter will be with us this weekend, so Honey Bun will be at the hacienda with her all day Saturday. That frees up ol' Dad to get out and explore some trails/forest roads that are "less than ideal" without worries 'bout Honey Bun getttin' in over her head!

Hmmmmmmm!!!!

Bluhduh Good morning

I got to wake up at 3:30 this morning.
Apparently we have a front on top of us this morning, and my back couldn't wait to let me know.

If it itches, you got it from me. If it burns, you got it from Mouth.

If your butt hurts, you got it from Doc
