Well guys I am back and looking forward to SLAP. This hitch was brutal for some reason. I think mostly because I decided to run while at work, something I gave up before and forgot why I guess. I have some kind of sports injury from years of excessive lifting that makes sitting in the aircraft miserable if I dare do any running or squats or anything similar in the gym. Hell even this recliner hurts. I have an appointment with a pain doc at a nuerology center on Monday.

Good to be home though. See you guys next weekend.

I did see Albies Tank. I like it, I have the old Acerbis 4.0 they used to make. The 6.6 was too big, that 5.0 you is just right. I may swap ours and hope you don't notice.

Mornin' Y'all

Rode home in the rain last night but it seems to have cleared up. May have to go catch up with folks at the Wilderness Rally.

I think XTique will be okay if I carry an extra qt of oil. It does have a little leak. I don't know exactly where yet, it just marks its territory when you park it overnight.
Its been starting okay since I cleaned the carb.
It needs a few things still like chain lubed up and side covers put back on.
Figure out a simple pack setup.

Have met some of you b4 and a few of those I met seemed decent enough for me to ask this, so here goes.

I'm headed up that way memorial day weekend. Am riding the Mississippi Hill Country Trail up to the MS TAT then taking the TAT across AR to Oark. From there I'm heading north. Planning to spend a couple days riding the routes that were posted up in the AR 500 and some other roads I know and some I have read about in AR ride reports.

Just wanted to ask if any of you in the area were willing to PM me a phone number in case I run into any trouble while on the trip. Doubt there will be a problem, unless some major mechanical or smack-down issue occurs.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

I'll send ya my number. I'll be gone that weekend but can put you in touch with any number of folks who can help in different ways, depending on your need.
