Now I am home icing the big bruise on my right thigh. Right on the IT band it sure takes some work to get that leg to bend all the way. I still made my mountain bike ride to the gym today and the weather was nice. I have 86 miles down this week toward my goal of 100 before I go back to work. Should eclipse that mark by a good bit.

Funny story. When I rode Lake Wilson Tuesday I tried to ride under a small fallen tree. I fortunately was not traveling very fast, and I did make it under but my camel back caught on the tree. Would of pulled me off the back of the bike except my testicles hung on the back of the seat and wedged me in place. I kind of thudded to a stop. Kind of felt like puking for a few minutes.
Just reading from afar, the more you speak of your cycling adventures the more I think you need at least one more wheel.

QUOTE=crazyapple92;19334481]How many of you plan on knockin' up your wives again to try it out?

None. Yeah, it's not that interesting, I agree.

Morning guys, heading out for a nice early morning ride in a few minutes.

Anyone notice all the ADV and DS bikes on craigslist lately? Someone is even selling a nice big BMW with a ADV sticker on it.

Is everyone trading up for the fall or cashing out?[/QUOTE]

Oh man,it's really nice in the garage at the moment. Got 4 working turn signals and a new chain guide on the DR now. All that's left is to get it over to Larry's to repair the sub frame and it will be ready for the next abusive trip.

I watched the girls mountain biking (women really cause one was 40!) today in the olympics, would love to ride that course. It was so nice, never see anything like that except maybe out west somebody may of built something that cool don't know.

Anyway they discussed the 29" wheel revolution. Seems, just as I thought, the shorter riders mostly have opted out on them, but the taller women are using them. The announcer said many think a 27 1/2" is the way to go. Don't know how available they even are. They talked about how the 26 was more agile and flickable but the 29 was helpful over certain obsticles as well as increased traction. I would never just go buy the latest whatever anyway. I already own my 26 and will let the sponsered pros spend the dollars on the latest.

I guess we
