Anyone see Steve Cole put his foot in his mouth on Facebook last night?
I posted something about my day in Tulsa, and Steve replied something to the fact he's going to be banging my sister in Colorado this weekend. My Brotherinlaw (her husband) is on Facebook too....needless to say the post didnt go too well!!![]() The funny part was Steve deleted his post, so there was just a bunch of posts from my brotherinlaw and it looked like he was saying he was going to kill me, when in reality they were directed at Steve. My phone was going nuts with texts from friends asking why this Kirk guy is coming after me!

You don't think about who can actually see all of the shit we say back and forth to each other. He had no idea who I am and that we gig each other about stuff all of the time. I talked to him. He's cool. But his posts without mine looked really funny!

I've been riding the White Rock area at least twice a year for 5 years, so I have enough tracked to keep me really happy--so I'll be OK.Yeah, I've ridden multi-day rides down there during non-stop rain with flooding in the area and all....and the ride still worked out fine. There's only about an inch or 2 of dirt on top of that solid rock, so you never get stuck in mud. It's the danger aspect with flash flooding in some of those deep valleys and all the creek crossings.....best to avoid if I know it's supposed to have hurricane rain, although my riding motto is "Safety 3rd". Thanks for the info, guys!

Well, every opportunity to give Ted grief. But yeah, I'm done with it too.

Sometimes I think FB is "ok". Theres some riding sections on it and I like keeping up with when my MX buddies are riding etc. I like keeping up with the track days on it too. I do think FB is probably not good for marriages, lots of sleazy peeps out there.
There has to be a story why you deleted yours Doc, spill it.

Well this damn Isaac is taking it's sweet time moving and now we are expected to be in the right front quadrant here in Lafayette. Looking like Friday before I get to fly my aircraft back to base, retrieve my car 16 miles away and come back to base to pack it up and then I have the pleasure of driving North through the remains of this thing to get home. I also need to coordinate a meeting in Little Rock or Conway to pick up a bike trailer I bought to tow the kids.
Nothing to do but hang out and watch the weather channel.

Sorry Joe, I think I will opt for the mountains first. Come Oct or whenever homecoming is I may ride back up through the corn fields to Urbana, Champaign.
