I agree. I periodically have to stop and check to make sure I don't have a flat
. If it is freshly graded it will be worse. I don't know about others but, I tend to give it more gas to lift the front end and shift weight over the rear wheel. Lower tire pressure might help too. |

thats funny u say that. i did stop and see if i had a flat. I need to get a new tire. I did put new breaks and did a oil change on my bike. i was happy i could figure it out. i hate working on things with motors. but with 6 atv/dirt bikes in the garage i am trying to learn more about them. a youtube video made changing the tire easy but i have heard horror storys on it. stuck |

Also check your air pressure. Putting on dirt bike tires is really a simple job. You can do it yourself. Pick up a tire and new tube from Motorcycle Superstore or Bike Bandit. Gets some tire irons, read the thread below and ask a lot of questions. What you learn from doing it yourself will pay you dividends down the road. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50717 nlp

Anyone have suggestions on a good LT 235/7517 tire for my Ford pickup. The Hankook OEM's were not so good. Heard bad things about Goodyears. If I get them at Wal mart I get 20% off. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I've had good luck with the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 265/70R17 on my 02 ford super crew 4X, same tire as OEM. Bought them through Lewis Ford at a better price than Wal Mart. Had a flat on the rear while runing in FWD and totaly ruined the tire. Took it in to Lewis and they said they would pro rate it. Had about 6k on it but replaced it for free. This my 3rd set and have just over 100k.

Michelin LT's. Probably the most expensive out there but damn well worth it. I won't use anything else.

4x4 truck tires
I have tried Goodyear, Goodrich, Yokohama, and Michelin.
BUT for NWA especially in our usual wet mess I love: http://www.cooperdiscoverer.com/ |

Hey Guys, just a heads up! 10Cup went in to the have a kidney stone hydroblasted or whatever that is called as an outpatient today. When he got home he was in so much pain he had to be readmitted to the hospital. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he needs all the help he can get. Thanks.
