In the video, the initial part of the road looks worse, but the ledge and further down looks better than they did today.

that Jeep XJ ( with the snorkel), and other crawler were barely visible from 20 feet away on the side, since they were down in that trench, it must have been 6+ feet deep?

or maybe its all camera perspective, nothing ever really looks scary on video.

Hats off to you if you rode the Beamer over that!

hey guys..need y'alls help..no, dont need anyone to hold down a goat for me, am needing some street tracks for the GPS thread..I started a Arkansas Road Tour thread in the central laying down tracks and lets put together some gpx's for the tourists

Great idea, doc. We get lots of questions for street routes, so this will help. I'll add. A couple of questions and one suggestion.

Suggestion: put a line in your directions that clearly states the routes are all pavement, no gravel (if that's what you intend).

Questions:
1. How are you suggesting the routes get categorized, in the subject line or something?
2. What do you mean by: "We will "catalog" of what we. These will be in numerical..." Something missing in that first sentence.

Uh...I saw it started, that's why I had the question/suggestions. Now I see that you'll categorize by posting a link to each post in your opening thread. Likey. You might have the entry names on the list all start with the starting point city as well as the mileage. The numerical/alphabetical sorting would then make sense when the lists get long.

Your first two would be:
"141 Fayetteville Top of the World, Bottom of the Earth"
"143 Eureka Springs View the Elk"

Went for a ride today. Still not to fast. Some of the back roads i had to take were wet. Soo being new i was worried the bike would slide out from under me. But it did not. tried to ride faster on the turns. I feel like i am going good. Then another car pulls behind me

also found some smaller dirt trails. some water and some bigger things to get through. also learned mtn bikers are not to friendly. I was not even going fast or on there side of the road. Waved but did not get a waves back. i am getting a little faster. maybe 2-3 years i will be able to keep up with you guys
