At first I thought I was paying way too much on the seals, but very glad to find it was both sides..because it turns out both sides are leaking!!!!yayyyy!
So the plan is; I will go and buy some more fork oil around 9 tomoro. come back and start pulling things apart. could really use that motorcycle jack I saw on CL but will make due. 3 people said I need the "Tool" but 5 people said PVC works fine. I need to hit a stopping point around 1:00 done or not to take care of other things. If anyone wants to come by for emotional support, holding score cards in bikinis, HELP, laugh at me or just drink some beers let me know.
Does the KLR have cartridge fork? Also, if you have an impact wrench that will make taking the fork apart a lot easier without the tool.

BTW, you measure the air gap with the fork collapsed and without the spring.

I looked it up, it doesn't use a cartridge.

You use the impact on the damper bolt on the bottom of the tube.

Uhhh no, no bikini or score card.

No need to mess with the damper bolt to change the seals mang. He can do it all from the top side.

If you want some help I'll be glad to do them for ya JT. I'm tied up this weekend but I could do it sometime next week I'm sure.
