I sent an email asking for more info.

how is the wife?
Haven't updated in a while. Still on ventilator and sedated. They had to do a tracheotomy because of the length of time. This is looking to be a long process. Hard to get a firm answer but talking another 2 to 3 weeks. May move her to Regency up by the VA. They specialize in this treatment and weaning from long term ventilation.

She is progressing but slowly. Saw the X-rays today and there is some signs of improvement but still really a lot of fluid in there. They have lowered her sedation and she is opening her eyes and looking around. Still not to coherent but will nod to some questions.

Thanks for asking.

Going to be a while before I get out. May need some volunteers to ride the DRZ to keep it from rusting up.

Have not heard anything bout a chapter.

Is it "real" Thai Albie? If there's no picture of the king nor a spirit house on the wall I always get suspicious. Lots of Thai restaurants here are run by Laotians. I've got nothing against Lao people, and not to be a food snob, but IMHO they rarely can cook Thai food. BIG difference between the two cuisines.

last spring I had big problems with coons... ample opportunities to trap, shoot, or even sock in the face...wasnt very high on my list of "try cookin' it for dinner" (was there just not high up). but couple of monthes ago I started hearing its one of the best vermin to eat. hope I come across some more soon.

Larry's good friends with the owner so he can verify, but I'm pretty sure that they are Thai.

True! He has little enough to do.

Just don't get caught by the missus. A very nice lady! ...but anybody who can keep Mouth in line is a force to be reckoned with.

Racoon for dinner. Had it once and that was more than enough for me. Too greasy.
