You know what I hate? Air conditioning. I sit and wait all winter long, freezing my ass off (because what I really hate is cold weather), along come some nice days and the wife and kids close all the windows and crank the A/C. I'm sick of living in a hermetically sealed box. Why, when we were kids A/C was a bucket of ice cut from the lake that you stuck your head in! And motosickles had wheels made out of oak that you didn't have to offset or nuthin!

That's all. Thanks for listening. Or not.

i think Air Conditioning is possiby the single greatest invention in the history of man kind.

had a coat and Tie event tonight, then loaded a 20 foot box truck with equipment afterwards... its HUMID outside.

felt nice to come in and sit in a cold chair, with less humidity and less tempature.

I much prefer cold weather
In fact Mattmus and I had this discussion yesterday

that food looks good Whizzy!

so does the wife!

thats a real nice photo with the marina in the background, iver never been up north, but the seacoasts and maritime stuff in that area is very interesting to me.

Just did the do, not to bad.

Plenty of adjustment left and not broken but the spring had no tension.

Factory spring top and Eagle Mikes upgrade springs below.

used the shorter spring with the new tensioner

Since new the bike always made a rattle noise on initial acceleration that is gone now! Took about an hour and a half.

Cool! Now come do mine! Kidding...I went with the torsion spring. Supposedly its the upgrade's upgrade. Hope it goes as easily for me. What'd you use to hold the rotor?
I havent heard much of a rattle yet but it may be covered up by the milk crate knock and bungee whistle.

love the cold! I sleep with the winders open in the winter! Much easier for me to warm up than it is to cool down..if it wasn't for the wife and kid bitchin abt it bein so cold here in the house, my AC would be cranked down to 58*

I think A/C has made us soft and weak. We go from our air conditioned cars to our air conditioned houses to the air conditioned malls to our air conditoned offices and then complain when the air conditioning doesn't work. What did the cave men need? Fire. heat. They (correctly) realized that cold is the real danger to survival. When it's hot you sit in the shade, let the wife go hunt for mammoth and drink beer. Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun.

You missed my point. When it's hot, you do less work. Let the yard go. Relax in your hammock. Listen to the birds. Take a nap. Go for a ride.

The closest thing to A/C is a cave.

It's so simple the cave men knew it.
