Actually one of my funniest comparisons, we ended up in a parking lot, guy shoving me around because my "passenger threw a cig butt at his car". My sisters boyfriend just happened to pull up. easily one foot taller than my opponent. Broken leg in a cast, calmly guiding the young lad back to his vehicle. He told me that the guy would most likely follow me once we seperated so I should meet him at the junk yard......

Back in the 80's in Springdale on Sunset Ave, I was sitting at a red lite on the harley. This car pulls up with 3 gals in it. I suspect it was Mom and her 2 daughters. So I look over at them, they then proceed to roll up the windows and reached behind them and locked their doors. After seeing that, I too reached behind me and locked both my "imaginary" doors

Nope, It looked pretty boring so I posted it to let you do the leg work.

I'm probably thinking of the carcinogen that was polluting the ground water as one of the removed stabilizers......

Was that because of the Harley or the posters at the Post Office?

MTBE it was an oxygenating/octane enhancing additive that the EPA mandated be removed back in 05 and opened the door for ethanol.

Lots of info on MTBE...what it is? what it's used for? legislation history, etc.

It lives! And it's for sale! Anybody here want a sweet, vintage Husky 2t that will rip your arms out of their sockets? It's a '92 WR 360, six-speed, water-cooled, fat-forked goonie bike guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you crack the throttle (unless you are pointed at a tree, then you probably won't be smiling). This thing has gobs of torque, lifts the front wheel in three gears, putts around without fouling the plug, and starts on the first or second kick. Good tires, chain, sprockets, new top end. Mechanically it's about a 9 (one fork seal is leaking, I need to address that), cosmetically about a 6. But what do you want for $850? Mouth spends more than that on cheap beer monthly.

One of you man up and buy it or I'll be forced to put it on CL. And nobody wants that.

I heard you got a 450. I'm jealous. This bike isn't street legal, though it could be if someone added lights. It's got a lighting coil because these were street legal in Europe.
