How is the Dragon now? I keep hearing it's too crowded and to avoid it. Glad you're having fun!

We were over there in July, and the only reason it wasn't crowded was cuz it was raining.
Lotta bikes in parking lots at motels, and a few hardy souls out tiptoeing around the curves. The Cherahola and Foothills are mo' fun rides and a lot less crowded. Plus the Cherahola drops you down to an awesome eatery right on the river.

I actually tried to connect over to wildcat creek around white oak church, but no connecting roads from where I ended up.

had to put out a camp fire left by horse campers that I saw out there on Sat. Giant pile of coals with fresh wood on top smoldering away. used all of my water and urine on it...

dumbasses.

Do I need to cut down an allen wrench to tighten the bolts under my Rox risers to get them adjusted where i want?

the angle I want them at, prevents me from tightening the bolts.

I had to add a longer front brake line down to the distribution block too..

I do like the bars taller, I just need to be able to adjust the angle a bit, and Id like to know I can tighten them.. I have visions on them slamming forward or back when I hit a bump.

We were there last year in September. Went through the first time on a Sunday and surprisingly it wasn't bad. We did the Cherahola on Monday morning and had it all to ourselves! As we were getting off of it around 11:00 am we started meeting some traffic. We came back down the Dragon the second time right after and little traffic. The whole area then including the Blue Ridge Parkway was not crowded at all. Don't know if we just got lucky or it was the time of the year.

All I can suggest is washers/spacers in the holes and regular hexhead bolts so that the bolt head is accessable but not too high.

I've got Rox Risers on mine and don't recall ever having to tighten them. They seem pretty stout.

IM talking about the initial tightening upon install!

IM having to compromise the positioning of them to be able to tighten them down.
