I'm a recent transplant to NWA (say less than 2 years) and I have had the pleasure of riding most of the motorcyling meca paved roads in the area, but I haven't ventured off road much. I recently picked up another KLR and I am working it over like I did my previous 09.

10cup introduced me a while back when I had my other KLR, but I never got to ride with any of yall. I picked up a DL1K about the same time 10cup picked up his GS and then he upped and moved on me. Again, I didn't get to meet or ride with any of ya.

Well, now that I have the KLR, I have been exploring the Beaver Lake area. Mostly dirt roads, but I did meander on a few trails. What I am looking for is GPS tracks for the other side of the motorcycling meca roads around NWA or maybe an introduction to some of the riding crews around the area that like to explore the gravel, dirt and trails.

Let me know where to start...

You're out of luck, the dirt roads are horrible around here. No good riding to be had...

Just kidding! There are quiet a few guys on here who have a lot of good tracks, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to share them.

Yup...and because of this you can't get live streaming on the YouTube link I posted earlier. The app still has it streaming in very high quality. 1 min to start. Boats in the box. Neck and neck race....I'm going nuts. 3 seconds behind at 2nd mark, but split. US takes it toward shore side. 2 lead changes, USA now leads. Whichever boat screws a tack or a jibe will lose.

Only had to pass one pirate on my run down. There must have been about 50 bikes sitting in the parking lot of the Gap store though. Holy crap, there were 4 photographers set up there. Killboy, 129slayer of course and one outfit called Moonshine something or another. The last one i didn't catch the name of because I was sneezing as I came around that corner.

First thing I'm gonna do when I get back is throw on the 17" wheels on the 690!

Congrats USA. I wish NZ was a bit faster to make it a bit more interesting.

read the posts, no other mention of blacked out in the USA, until you just said it.

3 links posted previously, all busted.

The first few races it was absolutely the opposite. Engineeer wonks and computer geeks in the warehouses made more tweaks than NZ down the stretch.

Maybe Gus feels the same, but I prefer true match racing in equal boats (where you trade boats every race, not knowing which one you will get until moments before you get in it). But, the AC has never been about that.

I'm fine with US, NZ or Australia taking it home. Just as long as the durn Brits never get it.
