Hey guys, dumb question. What is the TAT shack I keep hearing about? I assume it has something to do with the trans america trail but curious what the shack is.

Wednesday it is. Mdawg? Anybody else want to come along?

Also, speaking of the trans america trail. I think that's something I want to try in the future. The hardest part for me would be taking a month off work. I found the .gpx online and have been studying it.

I worked most of the day trying to get my log splitter running. Finally got it after draining out the old gas and cleaning the spark plug. It ran fine for a while then started to bog down and die. I think the hydraulic valve wasn't reliving the back side pressure and fighting itself. Then the engine would only run if I kept the choke on like the carb was gunked up. Finally gave up after splitting a half rick of wood. Anyone out there work on these things? I can take it to Fagans here but they are pretty pricey and not to speedy on getting things done.

This Wed might be tough being the first week back. Let me see how it goes tomorrow. I have two big projects we just got approved and need to organize the timelines this week.

I've ridden the OK and CO sections, it's a must do! I'd like to ride the whole thing. Honestly we could cut a few days off and skip the OK TAT, its not fun.

OK I'll keep you in mind if it ever looks like somehow I could manage the time off. Maybe even just the Colorado section because I doubt i will ever get more than a week off at a time but who knows!

But doing the whole thing for me is a must someday. Hell it might be 10 years from now who knows
