Eric, If you'd ever like to do the AR portion I've got the maps on hand. It's a good ride and can be done over a long weekend.

DaMoron and I would probably wanna join in and ride it again ourselves.

Ted is right, The OK portion is boring straight line tedium. The small New Mexico portion is beautiful and really sets up Colorado nicely. Leaving the TAT to ride the White Rim trail is an option worth looking into. BTW, Doc and Travis may still have the tracks of a side route a local led us on in NM which was challenging and which extended the ride in NM.

I want to do a Colorado ride next summer. TAT sounds interesting. Who and when wants to go for sure? Let's start planning.

Alright you wrenches..(in Mouths case, tool). I've got a clutch problem I can't identify. The clutch drags no matter what I do to the cable. Loose = it drags, tight = it drags, warm engine = it drags, cold = it drags, adjust the cable length shorter or longer = it drags.

Fresh oil with about 200 miles on the oil change, used the recommended weight oil for the DRZ.

Any thoughts? Mouth, Ted, OJ, 10Cup, Albie?

Sounds like you have notched the clutch basket Charlie. If you pull the discs you can look at the slots the tabs from the floaters and discs run in. They will most likely have notches in them from wear of the floaters and discs. Sand then all smooth with a dremel tool because they have to slide back and forth in each slot in order for the clutch to release or engage. I had this happen a lot on my racers and had to make this fix a lot.

There was a great article on the CO portion (COBDR) in a recent Road Runner magazine HERE.

Yep, good call Mike. My old 400 Husky was real bad about that.
