On the 60csx, it's set up a bit differently, but I got the jist of what you recommended and finally found the box to check. Worked like a charm.

Thanks Doc!

Perzactly!

That tablet that Matt posted a link to earlier is very tempting.

My Casio G'zOne works very well for me. Android based with 2 different mapping programs installed. I drove home last night with Google Maps in satellite mode. It was kinda cool to see myself driving the route in real time from that view point. In a way, better than topo maps for telling where you are.

I think I've used my Garmin exactly once since I've gotten an Android phone. Not much need for it anymore.

I have 2 of the Garmin A50 Asus GPS Phones. The limitations that Garmin applies to operating system upgrades and the inability to remove the bloatware will prevent me from going down the Garmin road again. I love the phones but won't use them because they're locked in to a primitive version of Android..

Do you have it in a case? Making it water/shock proof is my biggest concern. That and the fact that my iPhone is a huge battery hog when running the GPS and screen at full bright. I'd have to keep it plugged in.

The phone is mil-spec ruggedized. Waterproof, dustproof, shockproof. I've tested all aspects of it already. This is my second one of this model. The downside is it loses waterproof if you have to plug it in. But it will last a good while on battery alone. I have a claw mount to put it on the bike and have been happy with it.

Wife calls me earlier, fire truck sirens woke her up this morning, cop cars and fire trucks in the neighborhood.

she finally got the story.

neighbor had clogged sewer line, Rotor Rooter truck comes over, starts to root her pipes

feels like lightening, the rooter guy asks if he can stand inside the house for a few while the storm passes.
as he is walking in the rotor rooter van makes starting like noises, and then lightning strikes it and it it explodes into flames!

the guy was very shaken up, and thankful the neighbor witnessed the whole scenario since he said the company would never believe his story.

wow that is cheap

Looks like mine before the farkles. This guy is no fan of the letter e. Induro with no cracks in the finders. I wonder what kind of finders it has. Curb finders? Perhaps a beer locating device?

That is crazy Matt. I just got back from an early beat the rain bike ride this morning. Some really loud thunder cracked over my head and I was wondering what the insulating properties of a pair of bike shorts and a vinyl seat might be since that was all that was seperating my taint from a wet, all aluminum bike frame.

Set it to vibrate, just don't carry it in your front pocket.

Mother fu#$%@! Pulled out the Honda Ruckuses to get them ready to take the kids trick or treating like we do every year. I had them topped off with fuel, Stabil and Seafoam in them and carbs drained. Wont fire at all. Go to take the gas caps off and the key wont turn the locks...weird. Finally get them off and..

Dammit, what the hell.

you should have used the fuel without the moisture in it.
