lets see two showers with 2 gallons per minute would be 240 per hour.
so basically if we were taking showers for about 14 hours per day ( both showers for 20 hours per day) we could use that much water.

simply UN possible without water damage, or a soggy yard.

Someone missed a digit, or decimal place, or something.
OK, I confess. I tampered with your water meter. Thought it would be funny.

get the reading of your previous months bill, go out and take a picture of the current reading..it could be that when they came out to read the meter, the reader read it wrong..and put a pad lock on all your spigots

we have these on the spigots at the house in HSV

ive been taking pictures about every hour, to track usage, the next step is to try and find what it was last month. wife does the bills, and likely its buried or lost, so im fighting one battle at a time here.

its steady solid with everything turned off.

I cant imagine its leaking very much if it all through the toilets.'

no explanation for an extra 90,000 gallons of water so far.

the outside spigots are in visible spots, and we can hear them running in the house so i do not think anyone is stealing water.

I will assume that water theft in FYV is not the norm. In HSV however, being a very rural county, water theft is more common than most city folk would think

Oh yeah I can imagine that.

I am now trying to figure out what could leak so much so fast, and then NOT leak.

why are my issues always ridiculously bizzare?

one in a million toyota rocker arm/ head bolt issue

90,000 gallons of missing water..

We've been fighting the Fort Smith water department for 4 years. We're on our 2nd new meter and have depositions from 2 plumbers saying we don't have leaks.
Do compound the BS the city charges sewer fees to match the water they say you use.....

yes its coupled here Joe.

Its a racket, you have to find a leak, show a reciept for a repair or a plumber's work, then they will 'adjust' the sewer portion of your bill.

But as soon as you admit a leak, they also say " we are not responsible for customer side leaks"

Yay for public utilities.

Coupled is correct... like two dogs.
To add insult to injury, after they get our plumbers statements they tell us they would have done the leak check for free as a part of their "customer service". I feel the "service is a lot like the afore mentioned "coupling". Expect a lot of this.
