Yeah, that'd be good. Maybe we could Eric to drive it so it would be pre-crashed the first time I take it out?

Chuck,
When I posted earlier about starting the DRZ and letting the stator take care of it I was only half kidding.

Fire up the bike and turn the grips on High, take your smallest/thinnest screwdriver and lift the outer edge a little. Dip the screwdriver in "Goof-Off" of a similar adhesive remover and apply. There should be a series of lengthwise grooves.
When I had my grips removed on the Wing while adding an electric windscreen this was how they did it. It took about 15 minutes per side. THey said compressed air could damage the elements.

[ I forgot to add, lean the bike over nad work on the uphill side each time. ]

My bike isn't ready but that sounds tempting. I would have to get wheel bearing and seals installed by then. I have crash bars on order and my side shrouds are still busted. With wheel bearings I could make it work though. I'll see what I can pull off.

I have my 3 piece ECWS army sleeping bag that I think is the best sleeping bag system on earth and I'd sure like to really test it out.

You might need heated grips.
