I'll ride it over one weekend soon. It's had suspension upgrades, piped and carb kitted. Ugly as a wart on your nose but fun anyhow.

Edit: KLR's a fine bike, if a little crude. And heavy. On second thought, I can't believe you don't own one already Mouth.

Hey Vinduro! Glad to see you around and riding out in CO. New England is a great ride, tons of back roads. Riding the coast can get busy, so I'd ride inland and make jumps out to the coast. If you wanna ride along the NE coast, don't miss going north of Bar Harbor, up into Nova Scotia if you have time. Nothing like it.

It's 300 lbs lighter than the RS I just sold, and 200+lbs lighter than my GS. Feels like a mini bike to me.

I think it's just about the same weight as the Husky Terra. (maybe)

particular supplier with no intent to resupply. I'm hoping a new source for the gloves has surfaced that someone knows about.

Was told by one of the companies that they quit producing that glove.

Hi Magoo!

Yup... New England sounds like a "must do".

With that said, I think I'm gonna keep it and sell the XRL.

I liked the KLR I rode a bit. Big fuel tank, pretty smooth engine and decent wind protection makes it darn near the perfect dual sport bike IMO.

Went out to Mill Creek Cycle Saturday morning and had Rick put my Rekluse in. Had a great visit while watching him do it ( I would say helping but that would be stretching things a bit) Gave me a pitch to join Razorback Riders. Told him I knew you. He nodded his head and but then just wanted to talk about your wife...)

Did not realize Carlos Mayo was president. He came in while I was there but Rick didn't tell me who he was until he left. I knew his grandpa and did a lot of business with Mayo in the 80's

Lol, Rick is a good guy! You should have went down and checked out the campground, It's looking great I hear with the new campsites.

Yep Carlos runs the show now, scary huh! They're doing a great job with the club, it was always an unfriendly club and they have really done well turning that around IMO.

Come out and hang out during the enduro weekend, it's gonna be a good time.

Better commuter, bigger tank and a friendly seat. Dirt road cruiser to boot. I doubt Jay will single track the KLR.
