Mike I tried those on my DRZ. If you crash and the handguard move the wires get broken. If you do it that way leave a loop of wire to allow for the guards to move. My vote is wherever they are most visible.

Good advice. Bout the same visibility either way. Actually the dang things are pretty bright! They came with the Tusk kit and was supposed to be on the rear. Oleary gave me a better set to use on the back. I had these left over - so what the heck - If they last one ride nothing lost but the time to mount them.

They need to play with the rules we used in Jr. High, "no blood-no foul".

Of course we "International Men of Mystery" (or is that Misery ) are watching World Cup.

Tusk turn signals mounted on hand guard.

Turned out pretty good for FREE. Plus is I can see the top of them in riding position so can tell if they are on or not. Like a built in indicator.

Of course I will probably crash and break them first time out

Saw Tom and Glenda this afternoon, possibility of getting discharged Monday. Chest tube has to come out first, still draining enough to keep it installed.

Was that chest tube for a collapsed lung? If so tell him the removal is a non issue compared to the insertion if he was awake when it was done. Not pleasant but nothing like the insertion. If he was awake he will take comfort in that. Tell him he will feel much better overall soon after the removal. One of those while conscious is seven too many for an entire lifetime.

Tom

When I was with Tom on Thursday evening, he told me that that tube insertion was the absolute worst pain experience ever. I am sure he will be relieved to hear that the removal is not quite as bad.

I need to wire in an indicator. I do the typical old man thing of riding with mine on for miles after a turn.
