Not sure David. I would imagine it would be flowing a lot less than when we were there last. Although it has been a fairly wet summer for us here and we had rain this week.

I dropped cable a couple of years ago. I was using some bunny ears with a built in amp for a while. I could get the 4 aetns, abc and cbs with that. then I installed this in the attic...

Now I can get fox and nbc.

I have a chromecast plug in. anything you can watch on your computer, you can strean through google chrome to your tv. netflix, HBOgo, watch espn all have apps that make streaming awesome.

I also kind of cheat and use some friends password to get HBOgo and Watch ESPN.

The only thing that sucks now is the cost of internet.

Feel good ending, thanks.

D toad, which way did you end up pointing the antenna?

I noticed I picked up about 2 extra channels pointed west, but they were both in Espanol.

I think im south west, or South now.

I've got mine pointed northeast. This is where nbc/fox signal comes from which was my hardest to get.

I also picked up a couple of spanish channels, what I call the "church" channel, two extra cbs/mytv channels that are repeats. I have just taken those off my programmed channels on the tv so I don't have to flip through them.

I've not tried pointing it any other direction. I've read that if I get an amp, I can start picking up Tulsa and Joplin channels, but I've got the all that I want now.

Ive got a large amp, and I dont think i can get tulsa, or joplin.
but ive got the baby version of your antenna ( a DB4 instead of your DB8)

Id really like to get mine out of the attic and onto a pole on the roof, but thats a whole other ball of worms too.
ice, wind, lightning..

I debated putting it on the roof, but I too would be worried the elements would just wreak havoc. My luck, the first storm that rolled through would send a lightining bolt to my tv. I could just see myself having to climb up there every week to re-adjust and tweak it and every time the wind blows the signal would get lost. I think I'll keep mine in its cozy little spot.

Hmmm.... I wonder if the reward for his capture would be enough for dinner at Sassy's tonight? I could bait the trap with a can of PBR.

My daughter passed her drivers test today, I suggest you stay off the roads for a while to be safe!
