Bridalveil Creek camping?

Hi ... I'm thinking of heading up to Badger Pass this weekend and saw that Bridalveil Creek is no-reservation, first-come/first-served camping. Has anyone stayed there on a summer weekend? Any chance of actually finding a tent site on Friday night or Saturday morning?

Thanks - dman

Campsites in Yosemite Valley this time of year are really hard to come by.
I'm surprised that Bridalveil is still first come first served.

I'd try to hit it on Thursday night is possible. You may get lucky since it's a bit out of the way.

Consider primitive camping outside the park or at the more remote dry campgrounds if you get in a pinch.

Generally speaking, chances are slim. But campsite usage, like other aspects of tourism is down. Keep your options open, plenty of camping outside the park. There are forest service campgrounds along Lee Vining Creek at the bottom of Tioga Pass. I would expect plenty of room there.
