My only commitments this summer are club soccer, surfing/fishing, and riding at higher elevation!!

Post up a date, if no conflicts I'm IN!! I'll bring BEER for the tougher weather

sunday ride

after ben arrived, we headed for breakfast in town at the grizzly manor.

dannyG and his x-challenge; hard to believe he has all the essential camping shit in that pack... , we need to see an itemized report if you can please...

2old2race was also well organized

tomer brought the most crap, a family tent, pretty much a car camper can bring, and he even has a coffee maker/cups to do the ceremonial turkish coffee...

along van diesel road...i know, just making up the name...

then pavement

riskie and bob

the way i like it, everyone in the staggered formation

after the pic was taken, we were in some serious knee dragging...

grizzly manor parking lot. sheez, that dr350 has a lot of shit load....

the harley riders prefered performance over food

bob and tomer had time to play gameboy..... while the rest waited for our table

someone didn't get enough sleep last night

roger trying to mimic the guy on the wall

bob wants his food spicy hot...

that's a big breakfast ben!.....bacon, bacon, bacon....

WHOA....INCLUDING THE PANCAKES TOO....

YEEEHAHHH......MINE IS JUST AS BIG....

final installment next......

right after breakfast, the boys gassed up, but not for the 640A that's still on burbank gas. that's the price of gas and compare it on next year's ride.

dirt from here on all the way to hesperia

i hate to see this road paved in concrete

soon after, randy and i caught up with ben who had a flat front tire. we proped up the bike and looked at my watch.

......pinched tube...

EXACTLY 30 MINUTES....we're back rolling again...

the guys were waiting for us in the shade at the junction....

Excuse me. I think it only took me 28 minutes to change the flat. Thats was the first time I had to change a tire on a trail. When I tried it at my house I pinched the tube. I hope I won't be getting more practice. I will not be running 26 psi in front again. Ben

the clouds casted a giant shadow..nice and comfy

this place is a gem in the desert

then we stopped and did a head count before hitting the pavement
