Grab!

Made the trek down to Ben Brenman Park in Alexandria to track down Cody (38.808505,-77.114276):

Was able to coax him off the ledge and onto the bike:

Promptly turned around and headed west. Cody wanted the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The tag shot:

Cody is under the roots of the second tree from the right of the back of the truck:

There is a small stream back there, so the bank has washed away some and there is now space under the roots. I stuffed Cody up in under there.

The truck is parked at the place of business indicated on the door. If you need a more blown up picture, click here

Come on out and enjoy some roads without traffic!

At least he was safe!

My sentiments as well; if I have to go there, I intend bringing back a deer block, along with Cody . . .

Don't let me stop you guys from enjoyin a nice day of ridin whilst grabbin-n-taggin...

I went farther than initially planned this morning, had a nice breakfast with a fuel up around Luray and just let the odometer tick away as the weather warmed throughout the day. Lunch on the way home just outside of Winchester with a fuel up had me pointed and set for home. The morning miles didn't take me close to the location of the TAG and I figured one of y'all would have picked up Cody by the time the sun was at it's peak of the day. Could have stopped and checked the smartphone but great ridin weather like today doesn't come around too often when I can actually spend the time enjoying scrubbin rubber off on Virginia asphalt. Close to 500 miles of throttle twistin fun today!

I was a beautiful weekend for riding! Too bad I had to work.
So what route did you take?

Tag: It had been legal in Wyoming since 1869, but . . . not around here!

In 1917, the justice system sought to teach them uppity folk a lesson or two on these premises (some of 'em just didn't know their place!).

But, with the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920, couldn't lock 'em up any more.

Today we have, "N.O.W.," maybe once we had, "T.H.E.N."

Glad you got a chance to enjoy some of western loco's finest establishments! The beautiful south was a good pick.

Excellent! A referral from the ladies of Loudoun Milling.

"The Beautiful South's" Wienerschnitzel, chosen from the current (and ambitious) Oktoberfest menu, tasted as delightful as similar fare I've enjoyed in the "Old Country."

Full disclosure: Did not sample the special beer cellar offerings; Cody and I were RIDING, after all. Good beer would not have detracted from the splendor of the meal, at all; I'll be back, with company; maybe even a designated driver.

If you happen by Loudoun Milling, punch up the website on their sales-counter computer and show 'em their picture on the 'Web (prior permission granted).
