I must have been on a different Willard road, it was only about 25 or so yards of dirt.

Two part name, a town and a county. A different town in a different county is about the same distance from the airport as the town and county in which it is named. It could be called Nokesville-Prince William. I didn't go inside the gate.

dang my camera has been taking some fuzzy pics lately.

Nice tag!

I took this picture there a few years back:

All but one of the airplanes flew in for the day so its unlikely you'll see them there.

Well the road was in rough shape but it is unpaved only near the end. The pavement ends at the Range.

That explains it.

It felt like I was standing on the pegs most of the way down Willard.

If you want high adventure (this is adventure rider afterall) go to the other end of Willard Road due east from the Pleasant Valley golf course, near Sully Road (vicinity Lee and Willard) and take a few pictures...

Gator will be detained.

THAT'S one place you do not want to mess around. I know someone that works there and one time I considered trying to tag it.... nah, not a good idea. Any place with active armed patrols is a good place to stay away from.

They have some weird set up on the perimeter now, sitting on the walking path. I do not know what it is, motion detectors or camera's on tripods, machine guns or something.

Seriously mnd I wouldn't mess around there. Guards have slung rifles. If you stop for a minute, you will get a visit, if they see you stashing something(gator), well you might get a visit at the point of a rifle.

For many years it was a place the government didn't even acknowledge it existed. Pretty well known now though. I am not going to say anymore as I am already on 'their' watch list.

From their website:

In recent years, the NRO has implemented a series of actions declassifying some of its operations. The organization was declassified in September 1992 followed by the location of its headquarters in Chantilly, VA, in 1994.

Ali was safe and sound hiding out in the weeds.

Little guy tried to get inside the fence and go for a ride:

New location should be up tonight.
