Yes, I'm off of Work - and a TAG!

Ok, Ali really enjoyed the day at work. Ali wondered around and helped me keep my auditors in line. Thank goodness, having auditors around is like getting your teeth pulled when the Novocain is starting to wear off. Ali was tired of that and wanted a place where there wouldn't be auditors and where Ali would be protected from any would be no-do-gooders.

And as usual, I knew of just the place!

A special where boats dock and wildlife is protected!

Here is bike picture with the Wildlife Protected sign behind it.

Here is a closer picture of the sign.

Here is a picture of Ali enjoying the view, see the boats in the background?

The boats were pretty, according to Ali.

Ali is at the base of a faucet at the end of the little piece of asphalt leading to the water, as seen in the first photo. Here is a good shot of the faucet.

And there is Ali, getting ready to dig into the brush.

Here is a photo looking at the bike from the tag site!

You can only get to this site in one direction. Just ask Columbia and Lady Bird. They can help you, just ask George.

This is actually in DC.... Go figure.

Tag and hide:

The clue:

Ali wanted to jet away -- he was tired of being mired in mulch. He asked if we could drive to Abingdon. I said we could try, but I thought an Abingdon drive would take us was awfully near Tennessee. "Well," Ali huffed, "how 'bout we go to see Thomas -- his avenue is in bounds, isn't it?" I said "yes, and Abingdon is nearby!" Ali's hopes were raised -- "why don't we also see if we can find an avenue with a Potomac View?" "Outstanding!" I told Ali. "Let's do all three."

Bing Maps will be your friend on this one.

Find Ali.

Happy Tagging.

HBN -- sorry 'bout that, recognized the tag as soon as TH posted and headed that way. . .. With the limitation of tin cans and string, it isn't easy to see what's going on once I launch. . .. I left a note on this grab because I could see someone coming after me looking for a bit in that ivy. . ..

With that being said, you might just be able to grab the tag on your way home. . ..

HBN -- nice grab and tag. Glad to see you've moved past Stella.

FWIW, my tag was on the fly (), went exploring, and never knew that area was there. Turned out not to be a dupe (at least on the map I have).
