Greetings all, long time no see - Like the rest of you I couldn't *not* take advantage of the break in all the frikkin' rain so it was a good morning to get out!

Grab: Junction of Crockett Rd. and Flory Rd., Nokesville VA
(approx 38.683904,-77.512456)

As for the tag:

Ali had been covered by grass to no avail,
The raining torrents had put him in a soaking hell,
He wished for an abode in which to dry his tail,
And in the spirit of Hallo'ween, in which ghosts might dwell

So I took him to a place where a Rock meets a Rock,
They fit like a "T" (albeit an upside down one still)
The Plain little names brought a smile to the Croc,
Who had fun making rhymes...on a hill, with pill, or a still, or a mill

'Tis in the fair county of Fauqueir which I believe is in bound,
on a road with numbers that total 16 - and has sand!
If heading North from the T, a Hidden Ridge you will 'round
And further past yonder tag, thar lies a burrish land

Ali has a window perch as shown below, in the rightmost window that appears just above my seat, dontcha know:

Now you see him:

Now ya don't:

Tag to ride: (at this point my camera battery died, sorry for cr@ppy cell fone pix)

View North:

Thanks and have fun!

Gratuitous extra grab image:

Tag:

(Note for grabber: Ali is IN the flower bed shown, covered with mulch; however . . . the last image looks possibly REVERSED; although I have no idea how that could happen. Regardless, trust me--Ali's in there somewhere, near the west edge of the bed, only lightly covered. The image and the "A" may be somewhat misplaced. UPDATE: Just checked on Ali, from a "cage," looks like the last image above is reversed, left-for-right. Ali's still there, though; under the "A!")

Road? Named for the founder of the community; road intersects with a road named for a LAKE named for the founder of the community; a VRE station is nearby, and the other end of the road? Intersects with a road of which Frankie Layne may have sung, on "Rawhide."

Grab notes: After the grab, we asked a local gentleman driving a BMW automobile if a proximate road led to Middleburg. Just me, perhaps, but . . . I felt the driver thought, "Middleburg? YOU? Surely, you JEST!"

After directions, he then cautioned us to be VERY QUIET, because of the high density of animals thereabouts . . . I told him truthfully, we had just in fact stopped to allow an equestrian unit to pass . . . and what a unit it was! I'd buy a TICKET to watch that equestrian unit pass, any day!

Middleburg update: "Dank's" grill, or delicatessen, or whatever it was, is now named "Middleburg Diner," or something like that, with what appeared to me different cuisine and menu. In other words, it ain't Dank's no more.

Minor road clue refinement: The VRE station mentioned, while physically located on the road named for the community founder (road digits equal 13), is actually NAMED for the road whose name Frankie Layne repeats while singing the "Rawhide" theme song.

Across from the intersection of those two roads (about 3/4 mile from the gator's resting place), Morrisssette Top Hat offers a daily "proverb," or saying for passers-by to read . . .

The hide:

Marked with an "A", like so:

The clue:

In addition to any visual clue I may or may not have left in the photos, I can say that Ali was a bit too rested and wanted to work out. I said "ok, where would you like to go?" Ali snickered "well, that HBN guy usually grabs when we tag down where he moved with Dr. Beard. So does Dr. Beard." I answered, "I don't know about that, those folks, especially HBN, seem to move about on the weekends. . .. Plus, there's been some bike theft down there recently." Ali said that he didn't care, and he wanted some exercise, so we found this place, which looks very HBN/Dr. Beard friendly.

Happy tagging!
