Cool, now it's moving. How about when you make a grab, tell us where it was?

ok, it was on Rt. 55 West of Haymarket. Thoroughfare, VA I think.

here's a possibly lame idea. This is the type of adventure riding that brought me to NOVA:

So, I've seen other tag games with trinkets etc being passed forward. I'm going to leave this at the next tag unless you folks think this is too frivolous: (my feelings won't be hurt)

Its a shoe off the horse in the picture. It wont blow or be carried away by critters and hopefully won't be too bulky to cart around to the next tag site.

Hooray a roving cache! Some folk are in the belief that tagging is a "Take only pictures, leave only treadmarks" sort of affair, but I personally enjoy placing cache's with my tags. If its missing, you've been Bruced and can proceed to enjoy the rest of your ride.

There is a KLR rider joke in there somewhere...

Only thing is it needs to be a little hidden so that someone doesn't walk off with it and at the same time a little in the open so it is not a "look for the horseshoe" in the tall grass game.

Either way, BRING IT ON!!

I like the idea of a cache, just be sure to take a good pic of where you put it. No body wants to be digging around in the dark when it's just "under that tree".

frozen kdx tag

new tag. This is a memorial to the horses of the civil war. Its in front of a library in a town named for its location; the town is halfway between Alexandria and Winchester. The library is one block south of Main ST, adjacent to the "Chronicle of the Horse". I left the horseshoe next to the statue's left hind foot.

Nice Tag

It's good to see the tag moving. NOVA Tag has a lot of potential, that area is loaded with beautiful spots and a lot of history many people would never know are part northern Virginia. This game brings back many good memories. I grew up in Manassas in "the good ol' days".

And the NOVA expats come out of their hiding holes

Oh and if the horseshoe is gone, see if they tried to reattach it

Dentvet -

Nicely done! I know where this is. Now if I can just get out there before someone beats me to it I'll be set!

Might need a Rules Committee meeting....

What happens if an individual goes and gets the tag (shoe) but gets bruced posting the picture.

Who got the tag? The first to post or the first to the spot?
