Plainville, CT to Saybrook Point loop (about 150 miles)
We took this ride today. It was a lot of fun, and some great roads. Start at Tim Hortan's in Plainville, CT heading south on Rt 10. You meander south towards Hammonasset State Park then east on Rt 1 towards Saybrook Point then back north towards Hartford. We only got on the highway for less than 5 miles. The ride is roughly 150 miles (no dirt sections). Group included 2 sportbikes, 2 Supermotos, and 2 Enduros, so it could be done on almost anything.

Was playing around with GoogleEarth and opened the loop. Figured I post up a copy of the overlay.

nice, you rode right past my house just before (or after depending on your direction) you went over the east Haddam swing bridge.. There's a lot of dirt roads you could have in that area of CT on both sides of the river too....
