This picture was taken on a road that runs "between the lakes" (hint). It is packed gravel/white stone. The bridge I'm parked on traverses the one channel connecting two lakes. Hope this isn't too hard. Good luck

jimmycapp,

Have you ever run the 12 mile dirt road between the town your tag is in and Mount Washington?

I have not. I love dirt roads, but I'm sure you can guess why I don't see many on this bike :)

Western CT. Dirt Roads

A few friends and I will be riding from dover plains, ny/ Bulls Bridge CT. area on wednesday to thomaston dam. I understand there are some dirt bike/ DS trails there to ride. I was hoping someone could fill me/ us in on some of the dirt roads in-between the NY border and Thomaston. I am trying to put a route together now, and east of the housatonic I will be winging it. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I've ridden half of it in both directions.

Well I waited and waited but no one seemed to want to go and get this one.
I guess you really need one of these do it all bikes like what Jimmycap and I ride.
Any way the next one is a little easier.
