one question, I know what 'side seta socket' is, but what's 'left/center/right fairing'...?
You mean the OEM pwerlet you add to the fairing?
I have both. I think I'd rather use the fairing plug than the rear plug.
Any diff?

Yes. I give the option to use the fairing powerlet plug. It will reach the OEM right, left and center (touratech dash).
Make sure your accessory socket is connected to the battery and fused. The fuel pump can blow the 5amp canbus virtual fuse.
