NC bill to ban under-16 passengers

Anybody heard about this? Came down from a Marine Safety Officer friend of mine.

I sent an e-mail with a link to the AMA to see if they are aware of it and would help prevent this. Hopefully they will put it on their alert page with links to send letters to NC reps.

It's about time the gov did something "for the children"!! Since the ban on kid's dirtbikes, I haven't seen my son chewing on crank bearings, and now, he won't be exposed to certain death by riding with me on the KLR.

Buncha political BS, that and the "wilderness" act eco homies. I'm guessing that very soon we will be purchasing bubble suits for our children to walk around in. Seems like they could spend a little of that coinage on the economic downturn.
WR300- It's not a "Sunday go to breakfast" bike.
Husky 2012 CR144, it doesn't go to breakfast either.
