Get that when I'm on my RZ350 too.

A few weeks ago, I made a quick run downtown to get some ice cream. We have a quaint little downtown full of mom and pop stores and people walking the sidewalks shopping. A little boy started pointing at me from the sidewalk as I passed by looking for a parking spot. His mother waved a finger and shook her head. I didn't need to hear her to know what she was saying. So I circled the block and parked nearby. By that time, Grandma had joined the pair. As the boy started to run over to my bike, Mom started shouting at him, and Grandma just smiled and told her own daughter to chill out. Grandma and the boy came over, and the kid asked me a million questions about the bike. I let him sit on it, showed him all the controls, and let him start it and blip the throttle a bit. He was grinning from ear to ear. Grandma was taking pictures, and Mom got pissed and stormed off into a store. Something tells me that kid is going to own a motorcycle someday, even if just to spite his mother.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...
Once in a parking lot, a lady with a little boy in a beat-up old truck, pointed at my bike and said to him "there's something you'll never own". I said to her "don't discourage him, he may one day do better than you and could afford one".
I know, not polite, but she chose to slam me out loud so I returned the barb.

Walking thru the Mayo hospital wearing my red Roadcrafter, carrying my helmet in a helmet bag. Old timer asks if I'm a firefighter. Grinning, I tell him it's a snowmobile suit, and I'm getting ready in case the snow/ice storms head for Phoenix.

We both had a good laugh over that.

She looked right at me, and made sure I was hearing it! And even if she wasn't even talking too me she was still slamming me.

When did Husqvarna start making bikes?

A couple years after the Wrights started making airplanes.

I get that one all the time. So much so that it doesn't even shock me anymore.

I would've let it go but you highlighted it. That's asking for it.

I got this a while ago, "Why does that motorcycle have a BMW thingy on it?"

"Because it's a BMW."

"When did they start making motorcycles?"

"About seven years before they started making cars"

"So like 1980 something?"

"Yeah."

After finding out their planes were no match for Spitfires and Mustangs.
