Again, dude. How much juice does your electromagnetic dust-repelling system draw?

Gorgeous.

Hi guys, I have some news to keep this thread alive
On saturday I went to an offroad-area near opencast pit Boxberg, which is about 70 km from here.
This was my first experience in deep sand and there were also some kind-of dunes ^^
Pretty hard to ride on it... My biggest worry was to get the front wheel slipping away in a rut, which happened once
As a result to this, my ribs hurt and I need a new shield for my helmet

Nice pics, that bike is (finally?) in its natural habitat.

Now take a look at it once more, now that it still doesn't have any scratches. Ok, taken a good look now? Plant that picture in yer brain and flog the hell out of it!!

Hi there

I´m going on a trip on monday, my first big tour since I´ve bought the Adventure....
I´ll ride with a guy driving a BMW F 650 for about 8 or 9 days and something ~ 3000 km or a bit more ^^

Just attached my Ortlieb softbags today (they were brand new...)

The trip will guide us through the czech republic, almost directly through Prague Maybe I should notice that I´ve never been seriously abroad, only getting fuel in poland and so on, so this trip will be a premiere of advriding for me
Our destination will be austria, where we´re going to visit some interesting places, e.g. Mattighofen () and also the famous Erzberg, where the Red Bull Hare Scramble takes place every year. Of course we´ll take lots of mountain passes, I think highlight will be the "Nockalm"-road (www.nockalmstrasse.at)
The return journey is going to run along the german border, riding on pretty small roads and also a part of the german alley road, which is a beautiful road running from the island Rügen in the northeast of germany down to lake constance

You can see our route here:

I´ve bought the carbon plates from a guy out of a german adventure forum.
He does them by his own, but it´s really good quality

The carbon plates costed about 65 Euro. If anybody wants some maybe I could help getting them...

The Michelin AC 10 are pretty good I´d say, but I have to ride them a bit more to check out what´s possible

What happened to the Sebring exhaust & where did you get the Rally engine protection?

&...
As an impecable 98 LC4 sporting a Rally bashplate is intriguing,
what's the story behind this older beauty?

I only use the Sebring exhaust for "rally" purpose, because its not street-legal any more. Also the black rims with Michelin AC 10 are only for off-road use.

The rally bashplate is selfmade
Reason for the good condition of the bike is, that the pre-owner never ever has ridden a dirt road
He only used it to get to work every day

Is it a 660 OEM exact Rally replica or your own design? (bashplate)

Efficient petcock protection & practical, btw; ...very desireable for its recent change of lifestyle!
